Hundreds Attend The Recovery Bank Volunteer Open House

The Recovery Bank is one of the Treatment Court Advocacy Center’s newest and most exciting projects. It is Lackawanna County’s first peer support center – a place where the recovery community can connect and enhance their recovery programs via free programming that helps support the body, the mind and the spirit.

The Recovery Bank held its volunteer Open House on May 21st – and what a time it was! Artists, musicians, educators, businesspeople, community leaders, people in recovery and friends of recovery were all in attendance. The reception included a commencement from Vision Team Members Frank Bolock and Helen Lavelle, a presentation from Volunteer Coordinator Rose Nogan and an enlightening, interactive program from Dr. Christine Keisinger on The Art of Exceptional Self Care.
